Our wonderful rabbits
At Tiny Tails Ranch, we specialize in raising specific breeds known for their temperament, quality, and growth. Our commitment to their well-being means each rabbit receives the best start in life, preparing them for a smooth transition to your family.
New Zealand rabbits
Known for their generally docile nature and quick growth our New Zealand rabbits make excellent pets. Often New Zealand breed rabbits are also used for Livestock Shows and meat. New Zealand Rabbits, despite the name actually originated in North America in the 1900s. Colors vary based on genetics but normal coloring accepted by the American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA) include red, black, blue, broken, and white. "Broken" refers to a spotted pattern or colored patches on a white base. Solid White New Zealands are albino with red eyes.
If you're planning on purchasing a rabbit for showing, be sure you check the ARBA regulations for what is accepted.
Flemish Giant rabbits
Known as gentle giants, Flemish Giants are patient, relaxed, and affectionate. Flemish Giant rabbits are social and bond closely with their human families and even other pets. Due to their large size, they require much larger hutches/cages and eat significantly more.
Flemish Giants originated in Belgium and make excellent companions, show rabbits, and may also be used for their meat or fur. The seven official colors recognized by the American Rabbit Breeders Association (ARBA) are sandy, light grey, steel grey, black, blue, fawn, and white
If you're planning on showing a Flemish Giant, be sure to check the ARBA and the Flemish Giant Federation for regulations.
Care and socialization
We work hard to socialize our rabbits and ensure they are provided with quality nutrition and care from birth.
Ready for their new homes
Our rabbits stay with their mothers from birth to approximately 8 weeks of age, ensuring they are well-socialized and healthy before they are ready for sale. They typically become available between 6 to 8 weeks old.
Our commitment to quality
We believe in providing the best start for every rabbit. Our dedicated team ensures each rabbit is well-fed, healthy, and accustomed to human interaction, making them ideal pets for your home. You can trust in the care and attention each one receives.
